‘Eroica’ means ‘Heroic’ in Italian and that sums these XXL natural protein bars up perfectly. Ordinary protein bars are 50g or less which won't hit the spot when you're training and hungry. Eroica is a whopping 100g and, packed with crushed fruit and Italian almonds, is also utterly delicious.

The Eroica story begins in 2002 with 33Fuel founders Warren (English) and Erica (Italian) meeting on a plane from Rome to London, later marrying in Tuscany where they discovered the amazing sweet treat panforte in the coffee shops which instantly became a favourite training snack. When to use

  • Use Eroica soon as is easily possible after exercise. This can be immediately afterwards, or you can enjoy it as a tasty snack or part of your next meal that day. They’re amazing with coffee, make an excellent dessert after any meal and at a mighty 409 calories each they’re substantial enough you can even use them as a meal replacement on their own!

Protein bar

Purchased & sampled the 33 fuel protein bars , a dense bar , reminiscent of a Christmas product with nuts peel and a little spice , a nice dry texture not greasy at all but best eaten with a drink , in 2 mini bars so can be consumed at 2 different times or shared . Would recommend.

Impressive!

I’ve been searching for a natural protein bar for ages but until I found 33Fuel protein bars I couldn’t find anything that didn’t contain a bunch of ingredients that were highly processed.
Your protein bars are both natural and moorish.
Initially I was deterred by the high sugar content, but as the sugar is from fruit and doesn’t cause me to experience sugar spikes i will continue to it purchases them.

Best protein bar out there

These are absolutely delicious and great fuel for long runs. They remind me of Christmas cake. I could eat them every day.

Thanks for sharing your feedback Nick. I love them on my long runs too (but yes, they are outrageously moorish...I am never able to eat just one half and leave the other for later!)

Tasty!

Have tried a few brands of protein bars. Most brands use a lot of artificial ingredients which taste sickly sweet and keep me feeling hungry. Eroica protein bars taste like Italian fruit cake (yummy! 😋), fill me up, AND give me the protein I need for my exercise levels and as a perimenopausal woman. I would happily buy these again.

The perfect ride snack

These bars strike a brilliant balance of calorific content and delicious flavour, without being sickly sweet or having a dry consistency. The variety of fruit and nuts in every mouthful is great, the bar doesn't crumble due to a moist consistency. Means as you cycle you can get a good bite and then stash it away. I need a pretty constant intake of food when I'm cycling and this double bar means I can carry less but get the calories I need to keep going. Very pleased I found such a great product!
